I am a licensed psychotherapist and certified Jungian analyst with over 30 years of clinical experience, working with individuals and couples addressing the difficulties and challenges affecting their personal and professional lives.

I hold a California license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT 33738) and a Diploma in Analytical Psychology from the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles. I am a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), and a member analyst of the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP). I am currently the Director of the Analytic Training Program of the C.G.Jung Institute of Los Angeles where I also supervise candidates in training to be certified as analysts.

I received a B.A. in Art History from Syracuse University and have had a life-long interest in the arts, myths and fairy tales. In 1992 I received an M.A. in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. My Master’s thesis, Her Journey Back: A Return to the Feminine Beyond the Maternal, dealt with how, until relatively recently, the only sanctioned way for women to create was to give birth. The paper looked at how women have been hindered in expressing their own creativity. What happens when women limit their creativity to the literal and fail to address what else is asking to be born?
